DEFINITIONS

Learner: A person intending to enroll or attending Construction Helpline Training for a Course.

Course: A Course of study related to Site Safety Plus-One Day Health and Safety Awareness Course or the L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

Course Duration: The duration of the Course, the dates of which shall be notified to the Learner by Construction Helpline.

Fees: The tuition, accommodation, catering fees and all other expenses relating to the Course, payable by the Learner to the Construction Helpline.

Online Payment Process: The process of enrolling and paying for a course online through this website.

Terms and Conditions: The Terms and Conditions for Course enrolment and Fee payment for Learners on Site Safety Plus-One Day Health and Safety Awareness Course and the L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

Construction Helpline Site Safety Plus Course and the L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, has been designed to provide the building, civil engineering and allied industries with a framework for training and career development. It is aimed at all levels of the workforce.

The Course recognizes a natural progression from those first entering the industry to those responsible for managing construction work.

The Site Safety Plus Training Course and L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment is designed for developing knowledge, awareness and understanding of their legal, moral and social responsibilities for health, safety and welfare on construction sites.

Booking procedure for Site Safety Plus Course and L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

You can book online at our website at www.constructionhelpline.com or by telephoning our Course Bookings Team.

Booking for a course will only be complete after you make the payment in full, agrees and accepts our Terms and Conditions mentioned herein. Also the learner will be required to sign a contract with us on the day of the course stating that s/he has been briefed on health and safety procedures by Construction Helpline and fully understands the Terms and Conditions.

Booking a Course or Programme and/or Accommodation shall be regarded as an offer by you to book a Course, Programme and/or Accommodation under these Conditions.

As soon as reasonably practicable you shall provide us with the name of the Delegate(s) and any special requirements they may have particularly with regard to diet, mobility and access.

Substitution of a Delegate will be allowed up to the commencement of the Course or Programme without charge.

Confirmation

Acceptance of your offer will take place on sending you an email confirmation of your Booking. Our acceptance of your Booking brings into existence a legally binding Agreement between us.

Joining instructions will be forwarded to you prior to the Course or Programme start date. If you do not receive the joining instructions within 7 days prior to the Course or Programme start date you must notify us immediately. Construction Helpline will not take responsibility of the customer failing to check their email or failing to let us know that they were not recieved.

Fees for Site Safety Plus Course and L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment

Construction Help Line accepts payment of fees by credit/debit cards, bank transfers (BACS), cheques, PayPal. We require full cleared payment before we enroll any Site Safety Plus-One Day Health and Safety Awareness Course and/or L1 Award for Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.

If you wish and you accept these Terms and Conditions, you (or a third party paying fees on your behalf) may pay the fees now, through this website by following our Online Payment System or speak to a Construction Helpline Sales Team Member. If you choose not to pay now, the enrolment cannot be accepted online, and you must call to make payment. By applying for a Course online/over the phone applicants are deemed to have accepted our Terms and Conditions.

It is the Learner's responsibility to ensure that the fees in respect of the Course (as stated on the website and in other course publicity) and all other fees and expenses relating to the Course (some of which may be subject to a separate agreement) are paid by the deadline notified. Construction Helpline reserves the right to refuse admission to any Learner who has not paid all fees in full before the course starts.

Any information displayed during the Online Payment Process in respect of the amount of fees due from the Learner is the definitive fee at the time of enrollment.

All payments must be made in British Pounds Sterling. Any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in making the payment or in processing a refund shall be borne by the Learner or the third party making payment, and shall not be deductible from the Fees due to Construction Helpline.

Transfer

If you wish to transfer to an alternative date for the same Course or Programme your request must:

  • Be received no less than 14 days before the original Course or Programme start date; and must be received in writing via email or post.
  • State the date to which you wish to transfer to (which must be within twelve months of the original Course or Programme start date).
  • The transfer option can only be used once.
  • If you transfer to an alternative Course or Programme date you may not cancel your Booking under clause prescribed in Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation Policy

Any statutory rights which you may have as a Consumer are not affected by these Terms. Once you enroll for the courses, you will neither be able to cancel the booking nor will be entitled to refund of money.

However, please not that by giving 14 days prior notice your course can be rescheduled to another date.

Refund Policy

If at the time you contact us, we have not yet enrolled you for the course, you will get a full refund. However, if you contact us after booking confirmation was sent to you (by email or post or text message), you will not be entitled to refund and our cancellation policy will apply.
