Candidates will be eligible to
take up the RT49 – Loader/Securer course only if they have completed the relevant
CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) touch-screen-test within two
years of taking up the test.
The duration taken to complete
the training varies from one candidate to the other.
- Novice training for candidates
with 0 to less than a year of experience will need five days of training
- Intermediate training is given
for construction workers with a year to two of operational expertise. This
training will take up to 2 to 3 days.
- For construction workers with
over two years of experience, the training can be completed in 2 days.
Why is the test needed?
The RT49 – Loader/Securer non STGO test has to be completed in order to gain the Red CPCS trained operator card.
Criteria to successfully complete the module
The test consists of 15
questions, and a minimum of 12 question sets have to be answered correctly.
